Back in March 2020, many of our lives were altered in Britain. We're all fed up hearing about it but the world-wide pandemic caused by the spread of coronavirus forced us to a stand still. It was a shocking and drastic change, defining our next few years as a nation, and the rest of the world.

During the first lockdown I was forced to say goodbye to what I had imagined my final months of university life would be. No graduation. No final goodbyes. No end of year show. No real celebration to mark the end of such a significant period of my life. Well, what can you do?

After many students fled, Cardiff felt like a ghost town. In an unpredictable and scary almost apocalyptic new world. Through all the fear and uncertainty, my friends and I found a way to celebrate life, even if it was from a distance. This project captures the youth and vulnerability of young people navigating change, embracing love, community and nature.
